Our recommendation was to install a solar attic fan.  There is no electricity required as the fan runs off the power of the sun and runs while the sun is at its hottest.

     Lisa called us when she noticed an issue with her gutter leaking.  A leaking gutter is when you see water dripping from any area other than from the downspout.  There will be times when you see condensation on your gutters, but a leak is when you see water dripping.

      Gutters are very important to your home as they direct the water runoff from your roof.  You don't want all that water coming down and wreaking havoc near your foundation.  A leaking gutter can cause decay and rot with your fascia or soffits.

     Leaks are caused by various issues:  1. clogged gutters or leaders.  2.  damaged gutters or leaders. 3. gutters or leaders that need repair.

     Lisa noticed an issue and called Double R  to come out and inspect her gutters.  We found that the gutter in question needed to be replaced.  A quick and easy fix for our homeowner as well as peace of mind that the job was done correctly.

Rob from New Canaan was having a leak in his roof, but it only happened sometime.  He asked his dad for a recommendation for a roofer.  His father promptly said, "Call Double R.  They did my roof and they will help you too."  What we uncovered were small gaps in the flashing of two chimneys.  Our solution was to seal them up using professional-grade cement caulk.  Problem solved.

Dimitri called Double R A Construction Corp. because he was having a bird problem.  He didn't want us to get rid of the birds but rather stop them from nesting in the soffit vents of his Greenwich, CT home.
