Photo Album: Greenwich CT Siding repair and Gutter extension added
We sent one of our representatives to a home in Greenwich, CT to look at some siding damage and to add a section of gutter and downspout extension to the back side of the property. Our trained craftsman recommended a single seamless section of gutter and a 5 ft extension.
As for the damaged siding, repairs are difficult because the older the siding is, getting a color match becomes more difficult. For one, unless the homeowner has extra sections of siding on hand, the replacement siding color will be off. Age, weather, and fading all come into effect here. Generally, we offer a repair if its a small section but if you are looking for a perfect match, a full side of the home replacement is proposed. Again, this might not be what the homeowner is visually comfortable with. The house might have a 2-toned look from a distance. In the circumstances, we would want to offer a full-siding replacement.

We show a large section of siding needing a repair. There was a previous attempt to repair this side of the home but as you can see, the color is way off and a full replacement might be the best answer.
Seamless Gutter needed
On this side of the home, the house lacks proper drainage and is putting the property in a bad spot. Water pooling and erosion will continue unless we install a metal gutter and extension to pull the draining water away from the home.
