I gave a 5 because there were no in-between options but if there were, it would be about a 4.75. I've dealt with many contractors and have done 5 major renovation projects and this was definitely the smoothest of them all. I especially appreciated how you were able to work with me on timing, coming in right after the asbestos remediation. You were extremely reliable and came exactly when you said you would and did what you said you'd do. Towards the end of the job I felt as if things were a bit rushed as you were trying to get to the next job, and I also felt as if the "extras" were initially somewhat overpriced. Overall, though, great job!
I was very impressed with Sergio, who - in addition to being responsive and professional - was a very able and experienced carpenter and problem solver.
It was fine - about average for contractors - but I felt that on a day-to-day basis the job site could have been cleaned up more (items were blowing out of the dumpster etc.) and at the end someone should have picked up the nails and other metal pieces, taken the big rust stain off my driveway, etc.

Your price was comparable to (if slightly higher than) other bids but I was impressed by Tony's professionalism during discussions of the job - in particular, the detailed written breakdown he gave me, the pricing out of different options and his willingness to work with me on timing - and his responsiveness and follow-up in the lead-up to the job. I also was swayed by the abundance of positive reviews on Angie's List and elsewhere.
