The sealant used was starting to crack, allowing water to seep under the membrane. It appeared that asphalt or coal tar was used during the original roof installation. Our expert sales team recommended upgrading to TPO (Thermoplastic Polyolefin), a material known for its reflectiveness and energy efficiency.
Another option would have been to repair the work done by previous contractors; however, the homeowner decided to replace the roofing instead. Once the roof installation was completed, we shifted our focus to replacing the existing siding.
