Siding Before & After Photos

The siding experts at Double R A Construction recently worked on a 2.7-acre property in the charming suburban area of Croton-on-Hudson. The exterior of the house was in need of a facelift, as the existing siding had started to discolor and required replacement.

Our trained professionals began the project by carefully removing the old siding. Next, we inspected and repaired the sheathing to ensure a solid foundation for the new materials. With that step complete, we proceeded to install new LP Smart Siding from the bottom up. Key steps in our process included removing the old siding, installing a weather barrier and flashing, and securely fastening the new siding panels in place with appropriate trim.

The property owner wanted to replace the weathered siding with a classic and simple style. They selected "Sand Dunes" as the color of choice. This elegant yet understated shade complements the surrounding landscape beautifully. Overall, the homeowner was very pleased with the finished result, adding another satisfied customer to the roster of Double R A Construction's experts.

Double R A Construction completed this home exterior renovation for a property owner on Yonkers, NY. The original siding was severely faded and was starting to warp & pull away from the home. When this occurs, the water-resistant barrier is separating, this can expose the sheeting and allow water to enter the home. This can start the wood rotting process and possibly turn in a mold issue quickly.

To address this need, we provide a hassle-free, no-cost inspection of the home. Out trained craftsman walked the homeowner through each option while explaining the advantages of using LP Smart Siding. The customer reviewed or proposal and went with our recommendation and choose the Tundra Grey. This style and color is one of the most popular we install. To say the least, the homeowner was pleased with the results!
