Siding Before & After Photos

When a Scarsdale, NY homeowner decided it was finally time to replace her aging siding, she knew exactly what she didn't want: anything that would strip away the timeless character of her home. She turned to Double R A Construction, the Westchester County exterior specialists who have been serving the area since 1960, trusting them to honor her vision. After listening carefully to her goals, the team recommended White Cedar Perfection Shake siding, a material that delivers the warm, traditional look she was after while providing lasting durability.

The transformation went far beyond just swapping out old panels for new ones. Double R A's crew also installed new fascias, rakes, and cellular PVC window moldings, ensuring every edge and trim detail was crisp, clean, and cohesive. These finishing touches elevated the overall result from a simple siding replacement to a full exterior refresh. When the project was complete, the homeowner was thrilled; her home looked beautifully updated while retaining exactly the classic New England charm she had always loved.

This 1946 Scarsdale, NY home had good bones but needed a full exterior refresh to match its potential. The homeowners came to Double R A Construction Corp looking for a total makeover, and our team delivered the expert craftsmanship that Westchester County homeowners have trusted since 1960. The transformation started from the ground up: new CertainTeed Cedar Boards 6" siding in a crisp Colonial White gave the home a clean, classic New England look, while a CertainTeed Landmark Pro roof in Pewterwood added dimension and long-lasting protection overhead.

Rounding out the project, energy-efficient Marvin replacement windows brightened the interior and improved efficiency, and a striking new Therma-Tru front door became the finishing touch that ties the whole look together. The before-and-after difference speaks for itself; this nearly 80-year-old home now looks and performs like new, with premium materials designed to last for decades.
